Since we were offered a free place to stay (from my cousin) in Swiss Court Holiday Apartment Damai Laut, we planned a visit to this wonderful places (Sitiawan and Lumut) again during the recent school holidays. It’s 3D2N trip. What is different this time is we included Pangkor Island as part of our itinerary. Our last visit was four years ago.

Boey yourself
In a rare opportunity, we took J and K to a book signing ceremony last Sunday.
Why rare? Because it’s hard to come across an author who is loved by them and is willing to do the autograph at the same time.
It turned out to be an exciting event for the kids and even for me. The crowd was manageable and we had the chance to ask the author anything we wanted and took pictures.

Kuala Selangor: Family Day Trip

Our plan for camping in an orchard didn’t turn out well. My friend planned for a day trip to Kuala Selangor last Saturday. Joined altogether by three families: 6 adults and 5 children.

We wanted to get more people to go but everybody was busy with their own plans.
As a result, only four of us embarked on the day trip.
Let’s go through where we went one by one: [Read more…]
A Visit to Beris Lake Vineyard, Kedah

Are you kidding? A vineyard here in Malaysia?
That was my reaction when I heard about this. Having a vineyard is not possible in a tropical country like Malaysia – which is hot and humid throughout the year.
But time has changed. We have our very own vineyard in the northern state of Kedah.
It’s not hard to find the place and it’s located next to Beris Lake (Tasik Beris). [Read more…]
