We touched down Hong Kong at night after a 3.5 hour flight.

You Must Get This When in Hong Kong

At the airport, we get ourselves prepared for the following day’s travel by getting Octopus cards for everyone. There are three types of cards: child (ages 3-11 – $70), adult ($150) and elder ($70). Kathy has settled down in Hong Kong with her husband and they started a family here. Her husband was working that day and could only join us for dinner later. [Read more…]

Dinner at Lin Heung Tea House, Hong Kong

November 16, 2010 By Abel Cheng

We met up with Gordon, Kathy’s husband, for dinner.

Gordon had already reserved a table for us. It was indeed full at the restaurant when we reached. Lin Heung Tea House is one of the rare restaurants which still preserves the traditional look of an old Hong Kong restaurant.

Lin Heung Tea House is famous for its Hong Kong dim sum in the morning. And it is listed as one of the 10 things to do in Hong Kong by the Time magazine.
