Phew! It was close.

I almost ran over a child this morning.

As usual, after getting my supplies of vegetables, I headed home. And I would pass by a secondary school.

As you may guess, there are kids moving about in the vicinity of school.

What if the majority is wrong

I have to get something off my chest today.

I know I have mentioned this many times before. But I still want to do it.

One friend found it hard to contain her excitement as she managed to buy milk formula at a deep discount. She probably bought more than 10 tins.

She was happy on two counts: the savings and the formula she bought was one of the “best” brands available on the market.

It’s good for her 6-year old daughter. And she has got the ticket to health… or so she thinks. [Read more…]

It takes 7 years to teach a child to eat by herself

No she is not physically challenged.

She has perfect hands and fingers.

But it took 7 years to teach her to eat by herself.

I am talking about my friend’s daughter.

Every time she ate, the mommy would feed her.

Not that the mommy didn’t want her to eat by herself but whenever she refused to pick up the spoon and feed herself, the mommy gave in and fed her instead.

If you know me well, I HATE smoking.

Not only is it dangerous to the smoker, it’s also no good for people around him.

Furthermore, the habit drains your pocket.

Lose-lose situation.

It makes things even worse if you have children around you.
