We went to peanut factory after visiting tofu factory in Bukit Koman.
The Sempalit peanut factory was not far from the tofu factory. If you exit from Bukit Koman Village, take a right turn at the roundabout. Keep going for about 2 km and you will see the peanut factory on your left. [Read more…]

On the way home from Kuala Lipis, we dropped by Raub for two more things: tofu and peanut factories.
We planned to visit them the day before but it didn’t work out due to tight schedule (spent too much time in Casabrina) and problems in direction.

The last itinerary of the day before we left Kuala Lipis was to visit the zoo.
For unknown reason, the place is not popular at all and not mentioned by many people. I came to know about this place from one of the articles I read during my research and it was mentioned only once.

Day 2 of our road trip.
We went to Medan Tangga for breakfast the next morning. Judging from the number of stalls selling it, I guess the popular dish among Kuala Lipis people here is Hakka Mee. I wanted to try the pulut rendang but it would not open until afternoon that day due to fasting month.
