My preschool daughter has now learned to make requests. "Daddy, I want this. Daddy I want that..." Of course, like every other NICE dad, I am willing to give whatever she wants. And if possible, I want to give the best. But I always have this awkward feeling that I shouldn't do this as my daughter will be spoiled. And here's the problem: how do I say no to her? I can't bear to see her expression after I say no. She looks so disappointing and sad every time I rejected her request. Worse still, she threw tantrum at me. But one thing for sure, I can't give her everything she wants. Maybe you can share your experience with me how to best handle this. Will you?
