| When all fails, the tough gets going. There is always an alternative-homeschooling with friends. Schools are not the only places where children can get a good education and a great childhood. Many parents of special needs children have taken up homeschooling and done very well. Parents are children's first teachers. |

Everyone in the WORLD has special needs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE COMPASSION SHELTER FOOD The right to an education! Give me a break I cannot believe a principal would say such a thing. WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TO???????????? :( In my personal opinion, I think the issues of people putting LABELS on kids, etc has gone out of control. She's SEVEN years old. She hasn't been in school at all????????????? I'm confused. I need to read more about the story. I'm really sad to read this. |

Thank you for this article. I feel very disheartened that this child has encountered so much of rejection from the schools! Do they not know their duty??? why are they in the education line if they do not wish to educate the kids?? I feel so bad for the mom i can understand how frustrating it is! Do not reject children! if they cannot cope with the child then the least they could have done was to recommend to the mom a proper school for her to go to instead of giving cruel remarks!!! the comments from all the moms was good! Parents know how it feels like to have their kids rejected. WHy punish the innocent? they (the schools) should re-evaluate their goals! The Ministry of Education should also look into getting proper schools for these children! And make sure every one knows where to get them (the schools i mean)! What about parents who can't afford private school for their special needs child? what i wonder happens to them?? |

| VEA: That's exactly what I was trying to say. If you don't have passion in teaching, then you should consider career change. Also if you don't have anything good to say, just keep quiet. |
