I have never considered reading Deepak's book. It sounds new-agey to me. I guess I lacked innocence (so, what's wrong with new age?)

I must agree that most proponents of personal success stressed that real success is personal development - who you become in the process rather what you obtained in material possession. 

Hence, material success is the measure of success or incentive, if you like, and personal success ensure that you remain successful &quot;inside&quot; whilst material possessions come and go.
