Hi! I would like to add few tips about honey too!! My elder son always gets cough cos he loves icecream too much. I've read some article about honey as a cough remedy somewhere, and I tried giving him one tablespoon everyday! Seemed like honey works! It clears the throats as well as flu! As for myself, I am still breastfeeding my younger son, and noticed that the milk supply is decreasing, after reading some BF forums, there was also some tips on taking honey to improve milk supply. So, for the past 1 week, I had honey before taking breakfast, and to my relieve honey does work wonder!!! So for parents out there, do try our grandparents remedy at home before taking cough medicine!!! It's natural, tasty and children simply love it! - sally

Wow, you've got a healthy son!

Anyway, no matter what reason you consume honey for, honey is an excellent source of nutrients for our body. I like to make honey lemon juice. My kids love it! - Abel

very interesting. our local farmer's market totes their bee pollen as the truth! my husband mentioned that i had allergies and they suggested i take a tablespoon of honey everyday. i'm not sure if it worked but, my throat isn't as scratchy. i never thought to give this to my son. he rarely gets sick. knocking on wood! - tanyetta
