			<description>Programs that build character..... I like that idea. We ( hubby and I) control the tv in our house. So far the kids are young enough to respect are views. We turn on the TV, decide what they are watching and for how long. We use the timer sometimes so it's  automatic,especially on favourite programs  ( so we're not the bad guys turning off the tv) There is only one TV in one room. I'm  always close by to hear and overhear what's on. The kids turn off the tv after the buzzer or when the program finishes. Always ask if they can watch more but accept they can't when we say no. ( sometimes we say yes so that's why they ask each time) TV watching is not a big bug bear in our house. LEaving the park and going to bed is :)
