			<description>i read this book cover to cover when my oldest was 5ish. hes now 22. i can honestly say this was the best book for us then. you really need to read this book. every word you use with children must be carefully thought out before stating and acting in a situation. cuz kids see things much differently than we think. excellant book!! - Lori Whiteley</description>

			<description>Looks like a great resource!

I agree with showing empathy when talking to a child. 

Sometimes getting them to express their feelings makes it easier for us parents to pick out key points with which to reason with them, to demonstrate why these points may not be the most favourable for them / in their best interest.

Treat them like friends rather than children.. of course only when they are old enough! - JLow</description>
